Compliance Hierarchy

Organization

The top level. Contains general company info, data processing details, and compliance settings.

Sites

Set up individual locations (head office, branches, warehouses). Each site can have its own systems.

Systems

CCTV, access control, biometric systems, facial recognition, etc. Each system may collect personal data.

Assessments

Run targeted assessments at each level (org, site, system) to identify gaps and get tailored recommendations.

Quick Start:

  1. Create your organization with company details
  2. Add sites (physical locations where you operate)
  3. Register systems at each site (security devices, cameras, etc.)
  4. Run assessments to identify compliance gaps and get recommendations

Understanding the POPIA Compliance Flow

Organization → Sites → Systems → Assessments. Start by adding your organization, then set up physical locations (sites) where you operate, add security systems at those sites, and run compliance assessments to identify gaps.

Add your first organization

An organization represents your company or business. Once added, you can set up sites (locations), add security systems, and run compliance assessments.

No organizations yet

Every compliance journey starts here. Add your organization so we can help you assess and manage your POPIA obligations.

Don't worry — you can always update the details later.
